THE POSITION
As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be under the authority of the Accounting Department (directly reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor) and you will assist the Accounting team in all services associated with payables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
• Handle various payments and AP-related tasks
• Match and coordinate invoices, for payment
• Assist in general department-related administrative duties and services, as assigned
• Data entry
QUALIFICATIONS
• Superior analytical / accounting / organizational skills / extremely detail-oriented
• 1 – 3 years in a similar role, with experience in accounting as well as the necessary education to complete the required job tasks
• Strong computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)
• Quick learner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and French
• Strong team player as well as the ability to work independently
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume, environment
• Dedication to completing work on time and accurately
• Can do attitude to get the job done

THE POSITION
As Client Services Representative / Analyst (Customs), you will be under the direct authority of the Toronto, ON Branch Manager; and you will plan, coordinate, and assist the Customs team in all services associated with customs operations and client service support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
• Familiar with Import, Export and AMPS targets non-compliance with Canada‘s Customs Act, the Customs Tariff and the Special Import Measures Act and their regulations
• Contact with carriers (all modes)
• Contact with clients to obtain required documentation/information
• H.S. classification based on parts file
• Data entry / ACROSS Transmission
• Checking for releases
• Able to handle all types of entries; PARS, OGD files, Bonded files, etc.
• Completion of traffic sheets
• Application for permits (where required)
• Follow-up where necessary
• Rating, arranging, deliveries, customer service, follow-up with truckers, freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines and customs clearance.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Superior organizational skills / extremely detail-oriented
• Quick learner
• Previous exposure to the Logistics industry (customs)
• Strong team player as well as the ability to work independently
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume environment
• Energetic personality / Superior Customer Service skills
• Dedication to completing work on time and accurately
• Strong computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Post-secondary education and minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role
• Can-do attitude to get the job done
